vintage beede milliamp panel meter

Can you tell me anything about the connection of this meter? Is it connected in series with the load?

Hi Scott,

The meter is indeed connected in series with the load. , Other than that, I can',t offer too much...Beede stopped producing panel meters years ago.

Thanks very much Ken. I know that some of this type meter by other manufacturers used an external shunt for connection.

I am using this on a retro vacuum tube hifi amp that I am building.
